Dear Ishq is a new show on Disney Plus Hotstar. The show is produced by Beyond Dreams Entertainment, makers of popular TV shows like Ek Veer Ki Ardaas…Veera, Sadda Haq, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, and Ishq Mein Marjawan.
Dear Ishq features popular actors Sehban Azim and Niyati Fatnani in lead roles. The story of the show is about love-hate relationship between an employee (Asmita, played by Niyati) and best-selling novelist (Abhimanyu, played by Sehban Asim). Due to their competing interests, there is tashan between the two. Abhimanyu challenges Asmita, promising to improve her opinion of him and his novels.

The show also features popular TV actress Kishwer Merchant playing a pivotal role in the show. Kishwer is known for shows Ek Hasina Thi, Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar, Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, and Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan. She also participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 9 in 2015.
